On December 7, 2018, the International Water-soluble Fertilizer Branch of CACAC was unveiled at the 2018 China-ASEAN Agricultural Industry Summit Forum held in Beijing, China.

Gao Fang, Director of Bureau for Agricultural Means of Production & Cotton and Jute of ACFSMC, and Li Dianping, Director of Department of Science and Technology, Education, Associations and Societies, together unveiled the nameplate for the International Water-soluble Fertilizer Branch of CACAC.

Wang Wei, deputy director of the Council of ACFSMC and Chen Dehai, Secretary-General of ACC attended the forum and witnessed the unveiling ceremony with Tea Gong, Minister Counselor (Commercial) of Royal Embassy of Cambodia, Adisorn Chanprapalert, Minister Counselor of Royal Thai Embassy, Phoutsawanh KHOUNCHANTHA, Counsellor (Economic & Commercial) of Embassy of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Thanda Khine, Commercial Counsellor of Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Ana Abejuela, Agriculture Counsellor of Embassy of the Republic of Philippines, Li Hongtao, Deputy Director of Foreign Economic Cooperation Center of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, leaders of China, ASEAN, India, etc. in the agricultural field and more than 100 representatives. Fan Huiqun, Vice-president and Secretary-general of CACAC, presided over the unveiling ceremony.

Li Dianping delivered a speech for the establishment of the International Water-soluble Fertilizer Branch of CACAC. He said that CACAC complies with the requirements of China's green, water-saving, high-quality and international agricultural development, further enhances the professionalism and precision of its services, and invites leading enterprises and scholars in the industry at home and abroad to aggregate resources of the water-soluble fertilizer industry. The initiation of the establishment of International Water-soluble Fertilizer Branch of CACAC constructs a new platform of international exchanges and cooperation for water-soluble fertilizer industry, which is not only beneficial to promoting healthy development and international expansion of China’s water-soluble industry and enterprises, but also beneficial to better enhancing exchanges and cooperation in agricultural, economic and trade fields between China and ASEAN as well as other countries. In particular, it contributes to promote CACAC better play the role as the government's staff assistant and an international organization, and indicates that the construction and development of CACAC embarks on a new journey.

The International Water-soluble Fertilizer Branch is a new platform established by CACAC to promote development of water-soluble fertilizer industry, strengthen enterprise exchanges and promote international cooperation in agriculture. The Branch will give full play to its advantage in professionalism, precision, guidance as an international platform, focus on improving the exchanges of water-soluble fertilizer industry and enterprises, more effectively promote healthy development of water-soluble fertilizer industry and green agricultural development.
