On December 31, 2024, the First Session of the Fourth Council of the China-ASEAN Chamber of Agricultural Commerce (CACAC) was held in Beijing. Out of the 84 directors expected to attend, 60 were present or submitted valid letters of entrustment due to work commitments, exceeding two-thirds of the total number of directors. It complies with the relevant provisions of the Constitution of CACAC, and the resolutions adopted are legally valid.

Zhu Yanjie, Deputy Director General of the Personnel Department of the All China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives (ACFSMC), attended the meeting and announced the nomination arrangements for the leadership of the fourth council of CACAC by the Party Leadership Group of ACFSMC. The meeting reviewed and approved the explanations and list of candidates for executive directors of the fourth council, as well as the explanations and list of candidates for changes in the heads of three branches (representative offices), including the International Trade Committee, the Expert Committee, and the Nanning Representative Office of CACAC. The meeting also conducted a secret ballot to elect the president, executive vice president, vice president, and secretary-general of the fourth council of CACAC.

I. The meeting adopted the following resolutions by a show of hands:

a. Approval is granted for the following 20 individuals to serve as executive directors of the fourth council of CACAC, with their respective units serving as executive director units of the fourth council. 

b. Approval is granted for Mr. Han Yan to serve as the Chairman of the Second Committee of the International Trade Committee of CACAC; Mr. Xu Mingfeng to serve as the Secretary-General of the Second Expert Committee of CACAC; and Mr. Li Chunwei to serve as the head of the Nanning Representative Office of CACAC.

II. The meeting adopted the following resolutions through a secret ballot election:

a. Mr. Cong Shan was elected as the President of the fourth council of CACAC.

b. Ms. Fan Huiqun was elected as the Executive Vice President and Legal Representative of the fourth council of CACAC.

c. The following 10 individuals were elected as Vice Presidents of the fourth council of CACAC, with their respective units serving as vice president units of the fourth council:

1. Han Yan - China National Agricultural Means of Production Group Co., Ltd.

2. Huang Chunquan - Supply and Marketing Cooperatives of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region

3. Lu Lu - China Cooperative Times·China Agri-Production News

4. Long Huasheng - Guangxi Supply and Marketing AMP Co., Ltd.

5. Zhu Jiansheng - Jiuhe Company Limited

6. Kan Xiguo - Chengdu Wintrue Holding Co., Ltd

7. Wang Guanzhong - China-ASEAN Chamber of Agricultural Commerce in Hong Kong Chamber

8. Ye Min Aung - The Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry

9. Chen Jingbo - China Supply and Marketing Grain and Oil Co., Ltd.

10. Lin Weiran - Guangdong Supply and Marketing Group Co., Ltd.

d. Mr. Xu Mingfeng was elected as the Secretary-General of the fourth council of CACAC.

The above resolutions will take effect starting from December 31, 2024.
