The Fourth Member Congress of the China-ASEAN Chamber of Agricultural Commerce (CACAC) was successfully held in Beijing on December 31, 2024. In accordance with the provision in the "Methods for the Selection of Representatives for the Fourth Member Congress of CACAC", which states that "the number of member representatives attending the meeting shall not be less than 50% of the total number of member units", there should be 52 member representatives attending this meeting out of CACAC's 102 members. In reality, 60 member representatives attended the meeting or submitted valid letters of entrustment, complying with the relevant provisions of the constitution of CACAC. Therefore, the resolutions adopted are legally valid.

Zhu Yanjie, Deputy Director General of the Personnel Department of ACFSMC and Wu Lei, Deputy Director General of the Department of Science and Technology, Education, Associations and Societies of ACFSMC, attended the congress and delivered speeches. Fan Huiqun, Executive Vice President and Legal Representative of CACAC, presided over the meeting.

The member representatives listened to and reviewed the work report of the third council of CACAC, presented by Long Wen, President of the third council, and the financial work report of the third council, presented by Fan Huiqun, Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of the third council. They also reviewed the explanations and lists regarding the addition and removal of directors and ordinary members during the third council term, the revised draft of the CACAC's membership service management measures, and the list of vote supervisors and counters for the Fourth Member Congress. Additionally, they voted to elect the directors of the fourth council of CACAC.

The meeting adopted the following resolutions by a show of hands:

1. All member representatives agreed that the work report of the third council of CACAC comprehensively summarized and reviewed the work of the third council over the past five years and unanimously voted to approve it.

2. All member representatives unanimously voted to approve the financial work report of the third council of CACAC, the list of directors added and removed during the third council term, the revised draft of CACAC's membership service management measures, and the list of vote supervisors and vote counters for the Fourth Member Congress.

3. All member representatives unanimously agreed that Cong Shan, Fan Huiqun, Xu Mingfeng, Han Yan from China National Agricultural Means of Production Group Co., Ltd., Huang Chunquan from the Supply and Marketing Cooperatives of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and 84 other directors would form the fourth council of the CACAC. Their respective units will serve as director units of the fourth council of CACAC.

The above resolutions will take effect starting from December 31, 2024.
