On 25 April 2023, China-ASEAN Chamber of Agricultural Commerce attended the opening ceremony of the ASEAN-China Year of Agricultural Development and Food Security Cooperation in Beijing at the invitation of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, PRC. Premier Li Qiang of the State Council sent a congratulatory letter to the opening ceremony, and Vice Premier Liu Guozhong attended and delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. About 100 people attended the opening ceremony, including representatives from ASEAN ten countries’ ministries of agriculture and embassies in China, the ASEAN Secretariat and representatives from relevant provinces and departments in China.
