Dear Sir/Madam:

For expanding international trade and investment cooperation opportunities, enhancing information exchange and resource sharing, and facilitating sellers, enterprises and individuals from various countries to expand markets and business opportunities, China-ASEAN Chamber of Agricultural Commerce (abbreviated as CACAC) with the support of relevant national departments and international project funds, is actively developing and constructing the Lancang-Mekong Comprehensive Information Platform for Agriculture, Economy and Trade, Technology (hereinafter referred to as the Lancang-Mekong platform) to collect policies, news, supply and demand, data, reports, experts and other information, build new channels for displaying style, matching supply and demand, and enhancing communication in multiple ways online and offline, and promote enterprises development and cooperation, people-to-people interaction and exchanges of information on agriculture, agricultural materials, economy and trade, technology, and investment.

The Lancang-Mekong platform, which sets up 6 major columns including policy, information, enterprise supply and demand, data, reports and columnists, is planned to be launched at the end of 2021 for the trial operation and will serve departments, sellers, enterprises and individuals of all countries wholeheartedly. "Columnist" is one of the featured columns, and we sincerely invite domestic and foreign experts, scholars, entrepreneurs, researchers, etc. to settle in. The specific matters are as follows:

I. Method for entering the platform and equity

The Lancang-Mekong platform and the upgraded China-ASEAN Chamber of Commerce Network (www.cacac.com.cn, the offical website of CACAC) rely on each other and share the same information. It is convenient and flexible to operate, open to enterprises, institutions, individuals and experts, and also provides customized services.

1. We warmly welcome experts, scholars, entrepreneurs and researchers domestic and abroad enter the platform as "columnists" to publish research results, promote knowledge and skills, carry out analysis and research, and enhance industry exchanges and application of results. We will pay some copy fee to excellent original works.

2. When you become the "columnist", you will have your own exclusive and independent page, which is easy to operate. Under the same page, you can synchronously manage and update the Chinese and English information on the Lancang-Mekong platform and CACAC website, and carry out work release, achievement promotion, public welfare publicity, etc. The works or achievements you published will be open to the public according to your requirements.

3. As the "columnist", you also have more industry exchange opportunities. CACAC will give priority to inviting you as an expert in international exchanges, market research, industry training, consulting services, project review and other activities.

II. Relevant matters and requirements

1. It is hoped that the experts, entrepreneurs, researchers entering the platform could provide true information, have a good reputation, and be able to conduct research, analysis, evaluation and sharing independently, objectively, fairly and realistically;

2. It is hoped that the "columnist" can have a specialized field or direction, relatively mature works or achievements, rich theory and practices, good professional ethics, and the published information and reports are based on reality, credibility and reliability;

3. Please send back Annex 1 and the first batch of works (or achievements) to CACAC before October 31. We will deploy them to the background of the Lancang-Mekong platform for technical testing and online operation preparation. Please send us follow-up information for updating at any time. You can update and manage the information yourself after the official launch of the Lancang-Mekong platform. The online operation time will be informed in time.
