For expanding international trade and investment cooperation opportunities, enhancing information exchange and resource sharing, and facilitating sellers, enterprises and individuals from various countries to expand markets and business opportunities, China-ASEAN Chamber of Agricultural Commerce (abbreviated as CACAC) with the support of relevant national departments and international project funds, is actively developing and constructing the Lancang-Mekong Comprehensive Information Platform for Agriculture, Economy and Trade, Technology (hereinafter referred to as the Lancang-Mekong platform) to collect policies, news, supply and demand, data, reports, experts and other information, build new channels for displaying style, matching supply and demand, and enhancing communication in multiple ways online and offline, and promote enterprises development and cooperation, and exchanges of information on agriculture, agricultural materials, economy and trade, technology, and investment.
The Lancang-Mekong platform is planned to be launched at the end of 2021 for the trial operation and will serve departments, sellers, enterprises and individuals of all countries wholeheartedly. We sincerely invite your company to enter the platform, jointly promote development, cooperation, and communication. The details are as follows:
I. Introduction of Lancang-Mekong platform
The Lancang-Mekong platform (website: www.cacac.com.cn) has six columns including policy, information, enterprise supply and demand, data, report and columnist. It specially set up a column for enterprises and organizations, which will launch enterprise directory, news, supply and demand, credit, etc., and provide international window for free publicity, display, and matchmaking. We actively invite enterprises, associations and chambers of commerce and experts all over the world to cooperate with and join us.
Through the platform, you can post your own news, supply or demand information, expand contacts and cooperation with foreign markets and personnel, learn the latest agricultural, agricultural materials, economic and trade information of China, ASEAN and other countries, access to agricultural, agricultural materials, economic and trade data and research and analysis reports of various countries, and explore larger markets and get more business opportunities (see Annex 2 for the brief introduction of Lancang-Mekong platform).
II. Method for entering the platform and equity
The Lancang-Mekong platform and the upgraded China-ASEAN Chamber of Commerce Network (www.cacac.com.cn, the offical website of CACAC) rely on each other and share the same information. It is convenient and flexible to operate, open to enterprises, institutions, individuals and experts, and also provides customized services.
A. Entry of enterprises or organizations
1. No matter on the Lancang-Mekong platform or CACAC (www.cacac.com.cn), you can browse and register for free. You can view, update and manage your Chinese and English information with the same account. Once register or log in, you can easily publish information on the two web pages, thus expanding information flow and influence.
2. After registration, you will enjoy the following benefits:
(1) You will have your own independent page, managing and updating Chinese and English information at the same time, and carrying out image display and publicity (such as company profile, products, honors, etc.);
(2) Enjoy the right to publish news, supply and demand information, introduce and promote products, technologies and services of your company;
(3) Can be added to the list of enterprises of your country or the country your business covered as an excellent representative;
(4) You can promote and display your company online for free all year round to attract potential customers, match information and products, and expand cooperation and influence;
(5) Members of CACAC will enjoy super rights and value-added services, having the priority to publish enterprise news, supply and demand information, products and services, and view all information, data, reports, etc. on the Lancang-Mekong platform and CACAC website for free.
B. Individual user
1. Individuals can browse information on the Lancang-Mekong platform or CACAC website freely, and can also consult more permission information after registering on either the Lancang-Mekong platform or CACAC website;
2. We warmly welcome experts, scholars, entrepreneurs and researchers domestic and abroad enter the platform as "columnists" to publish research results, promote knowledge and skills, and carry out analysis and research. We will pay some copy fee to excellent original works.
III. Relevant matters and requirements
1. We sincerely hope that your company can actively enter the platform as an excellent enterprise, show a good international image and grasp potential development opportunities.
2. It is hoped that the enterprises, organizations and individuals entering the platform provide the true information and are with good reputation, high-quality and reliable products, supply and demand, information and so on.
3. Please sort out and send your company's profile, news, product supply and service, demand information, website links, etc. to CACAC, all is ok in text, pictures or videos (preferably both in Chinese and English) so that we can upload the information to the background of Lancang-Mekong platform for technical testing and online operation preparation. See Annex 1 for details. After the launch of the Lancang-Mekong platform, all units or individuals can update and manage information by themselves, including uploading news, supply and demand information, products, technologies and services, works and achievements, etc.
Please send Annex 1 and the first batch of information back to CACAC before October 30. Follow up information can also be collected and sent to us for updating at any time. The online operation time will be informed in time.

Introduction to the Lancang-Mekong Platform and CACAC
I. Major columns of the Lancang-Mekong Platform
The Lancang-Mekong comprehensive information platform for agriculture, economy and trade, technology (hereinafter referred to as the Lancang-Mekong platform) sets up 6 major columns including policy, information, enterprise supply and demand, data, reports and columnists.
1. Policy
The Policy column contains policies on agriculture, agricultural materials, economy and trade, technology, import and export, taxation and customs, investment preferential policies, national support policies, trade barrier information and adjustments, etc. of China, Mekong and ASEAN countries .
2. Information
The Information column contains news and information concerning agricultural products, agricultural materials (fertilizers, pesticides, agricultural machinery, etc.), economy and trade, markets as well as information of exchanges, import and export, investment demand, industrial development, exhibitions, etc. of China, Mekong countries, ASEAN countries, and countries along the Belt and Road.
3. Enterprises (or organizations)
The Enterprises (or organizations) column collects multinational enterprise news, enterprise directory, information of enterprise supply and demand, enterprise credit, etc., providing a platform for year-round publicity and display which facilitates connection and matchmaking. The column also provides enterprises online exclusive, self-management independent page. After free registration, enterprises can publish their news, products and services, information of supply and demand, etc., and can also check hot demand on the platform to look for potential customers and learn about credit evaluation, etc.
4. Data
The Data column gathers and collects information on agricultural products, agricultural materials, plantations, enterprises and farmers of China, Mekong and ASEAN countries, covering production, sales, trade, prices, supply and demand and other aspects. The column also pools professional macroeconomic data, economic and trade data and exclusive collected information to provide reference of production, management and decision-making for the upstream and downstream of industry chain and supply chain. Details are as follows:
(1) Agricultural materials data: collect and sort out the production, import and export volume, prices, inventory and application data, etc. of agricultural materials of the six Lancang-Mekong countries and ASEAN countries;
(2) Agricultural products data: collect and sort out data on output, import and export volume, prices of major agricultural products and forest products as well as on livestock feeding amount, Animal by-products production, Fish production, etc. of the six Lancang-Mekong countries and ASEAN countries;
(3) Plantation industry data: collect and sort out the planting area, harvest area, technical requirements of major agricultural products in the six Lancang-Mekong countries and ASEAN countries;
(4) Enterprise and farmer data: sort out and demonstrate the basic situation, planting scale, supply and demand of enterprises and farmers, and business environment ranking, business opening costs, number of newly registered enterprises, etc. in the six Lancang-Mekong countries and ASEAN countries;
(5) Macroeconomic data: sort out and demonstrate the basic conditions, GDP, population, income, consumption, agricultural, economic and trade development of the six Lancang-Mekong countries and ASEAN countries;
(6) Economic and Trade Data: sort out and demonstrate relevant data on agricultural materials, agricultural products, economy and trade services of the six Lancang-Mekong countries and ASEAN countries.
5. Report
The Report column collects and publishes practical information such as agricultural, economic and trade investment environment analysis, policy and market research, production and trade trends, hotspots and difficult issues of China, Mekong, ASEAN and other countries, and provides country reports, special reports, and customized reports to meet the professional, in-depth, and specific demand of different users.
6. Columnists
The Columnists column invites industry experts, researchers, analysts, etc. serving as columnists to publish their research results, disseminate industry knowledge, carry out technology promotion, and conduct market analysis. It also provides timely analysis and information, delivers information of the latest industry conditions and trends.
II. CACAC and CACAC website
China-ASEAN Chamber of Agricultural Commerce(abbreviated as CACAC) is an international organization serving the development and exchanges on agriculture, agricultural materials, economy and trade among China, ASEAN countries along the Belt and Road, committed to serving the government, industry and members.
In recent years, CACAC has actively undertaken international cooperation projects, continuously explored the cooperation potential between China and Mekong countries, ASEAN and other countries, successively held a series of activities such as Agricultural Technology Training, Industry Summit Forum, Matchmaking Meeting and Economic and Trade Fair. It also developed and constructed the Lancang-Mekong Comprehensive Information Platform for Agriculture, Economy and Trade, Technology (short for Lancang-Mekong platform) and upgraded the CACAC website (the official website of the CACAC), making every effort to create a new channel for online and offline information sharing and communication, promote regional resource sharing and market connection, and help China Mekong, ASEAN and other countries to deepen cooperation and exchanges in agriculture, agricultural materials, economy and trade, technology, projects, and investment.
On CACAC website, there are more special columns such as CACAC dynamics, member services and special activities of CACAC to publicize members in multi-angle, serve the industry, deliver information and business opportunities, and promote connection and cooperation.
