On July 12th, Long Wen, executive vice-president of China-ASEAN Chamber of Agricultural Commerce and other two principals visited the Asian Department of China’s Ministry of Commerce and had friendly talks with Zhong Jie, director of the Division II of Asian Department.   

Vice-president Long Wen first expressed her gratitude to the Asian Department for the guidance and support of the work of CACAC. Then Secretary-General Fan Huiqun introduced the work of CACAC over the past year and the key arrangements for the next step. Also Fan asked for the Asian department’s guidance and support in the "2017 China-ASEAN Agricultural Means of Production Industry Summit" to be held in Nanning in September and the serial activities CACAC plans to organize in the fourth quarter so as to introduce excellent enterprises of agricultural production and high-quality agricultural material products into ASEAN countries. Director Zhong Jie gave credit for the work of CACAC, saying that CACAC’s work conforms to the national strategy and policy orientation. And the Asian department will continue to support the above two major events of CACAC in the latter half of the year.

The visit further enhanced CACAC’s communication with the Asian Department and facilitated the further development of the work of CACAC.
