Recently, CACAC learns from the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in China that multi-field cooperation between China and Vietnam are becoming more and more intimate. In terms of capacity cooperation, Pei Huihuang, Commercial Counselor of the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, provided CACAC leaders with a list of projects concerning capacity cooperation between China and Vietnam, saying that they welcome Chinese enterprises to invest in Vietnam.

It is understood that the Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc paid an official visit to China from September 10th to 16th, 2016 at the invitation of Premier Li Keqiang. During his visit, the two sides signed several cooperation documents in the field of economy and trade, capacity, infrastructure, education, etc. The Memorandum of Understanding on the list of capacity cooperation projects signed by the National Development and Reform Commission of the People’s Republic of China and Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade is one of them.

The main contents of the list is as follows (the list of cooperation projects in agriculture is from the 10th item to the 18th item):

2. Textile equipment and parts production project (Dong Thap)

3. Silk thread production project (Hoa Binh)

4. Medium and high quality stockings production and knitting project (Nam Dinh)

5. Textile production project (Tinh Phu Tho)

7. Textile production project (Tuyen Quang)

8. Leather shoes production project (Tinh Phu Tho)

9. Leather for making shoes production project (Tuyen Quang)

10. Fruits and fruit juice processing project (Dong Thap)

11. Rice-made starch processing project (Dong Thap)

12. Agricultural products processing and storage project （Hoa Binh）

13. Orange processing project（Hoa Binh）

14. Feed stripper processing project  (Hoa Binh)
