Jiangsu Shangxiang Food Co., Ltd., registered and established in August 2010, is the first enterprise in China to take quick-frozen dumplings(bun) as its leading product, and the first one to obtain QS certification of dumpling in China.

In October 2011, ShangxiangTangbao(Steamed Soup Dumpling) was put in the 2011 National Spark Program. In 2012, ShangxiangTangbao was recognized as "China Famous Dessert" by China Cuisine Association, JingjiangTangbao was selected as the intangible cultural heritage of Jiangsu, and ShangxiangTangbao was selected as the seventh episode of the first season of "China on the tip of the tongue" by CCTV. In August 2013, the company was named as a national agricultural product "staple food processing demonstration enterprise" by the Ministry of Agriculture. It becomes the only one in Taizhou and one of the five awarded enterprises in Jiangsu Province. In recent years, ShangxiangTangbao has won the "Quality Product Award" issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and has been recognized by the organizing committee of the 4th Yellow Sea International Food Culture Festival and China Good Taste National Elite Chef Competition as "Number One Dumpling in the World" and "Most Popular Award".China Food Expo awarded the honorary title of "Top Ten Most Popular Steamed Dumpling in China". On October 26th, the Daily Agricultural Economics of CCTV7 conducted a special interview with the general manager of Shangxiang Company and played on TV. In 2014, Shangxiang Food was rated as "Top Ten Snack Brands in Jiangsu Province" by the Provincial Catering Industry Association.

JingjiangTangbao was only eaten in a restaurant traditionally, so it was difficult to realize industrial production, and it was even more difficult for guests to take it away to eat. To inherit JingjiangTangbao culture and make the production of Tangbao take the route of industrialization and large-scale development, the company cooperated with Jiangnan University to create the automatic production technology and process of dough pressing in the process of making Tangbao. We invented the "enzymatic cross-linking anti-cracking technology", "biological anti-oxidation quality assurance technology" and the fermentation technology of frozen dough. That is completely released from the dependence of traditional soup dumplings on "time and space". Presently, all kinds of steamed dumplings produced by the company can be frozen, and the fresh-retaining and preservation are at the leading level in the industry.

The industrialized production of Shang Xiang Tangbao fills the gap that Jingjiang Tang Bao can't be specialized, produced on a large scale and carried far away, and makes JingjiangTangbao spread home and abroad. At present, except Xinjiang, Tibet, and Qinghai provinces, Shang Xiang Tangbao can be tasted all over the country.

On December 4th, 2014, the company was listed in Shanghai Equity Custody Center and landed on the OTC market. On December 9th, 2014, the company signed a strategic cooperation agreement with CBN Berg Data, which marked that Shangxiang Company's "Small Tangbao " was grafted with "Big Data", which opened a new era of development.
