Recently, Hubei Yihua disclosed the latest progress of its phosphorus-fluorine integrated industrial layout during an institutional research event. The company is partnering with Do-Fluoride to deeply cultivate the efficient development and circular utilization of phosphorus-fluorine resources. Relying on the by-product fluosilicic acid resources from its own wet-process phosphoric acid production, the company is extending into the high value-added downstream sector, laying out high-end fine chemical categories such as anhydrous hydrogen fluoride, electronic-grade hydrofluoric acid, electronic-grade phosphoric acid, and lithium hexafluorophosphate. It is fully committed to creating a regional benchmark Central China Fluorosilicone Industrial Park and perfecting the closed-loop of the entire phosphorus-fluorine industry chain.
According to the company, the core of this industrial layout relies on the resource utilization of fluosilicic acid, turning phosphate fertilizer by-products into valuable assets. It creates a complete value-added industrial chain of "fluosilicic acid—anhydrous hydrogen fluoride—electronic-grade hydrofluoric acid, electronic-grade phosphoric acid, lithium hexafluorophosphate", significantly improving the comprehensive utilization rate and product added value of phosphorus-fluorine resources, and driving the company's transformation and upgrading from traditional phosphorus chemical industry to high-end electronic fluorine new materials.
Currently, the construction of key projects in the park is proceeding in an orderly manner, and the production capacity echelon is gradually landing: The company's 30,000 tons/year anhydrous hydrogen fluoride project has successfully entered the trial production stage, with capacity beginning to be steadily released; the 20,000 tons/year electronic-grade hydrofluoric acid project has achieved mechanical completion, and pre-commissioning work is being finalized, with trial production about to commence; additionally, the 10,000 tons/year electronic-grade phosphoric acid project has completed filing and is planned to officially start construction in the second half of 2026.
With the successive commissioning and landing of a series of fluorosilicone new material projects, the company will further improve its phosphorus-fluorine integrated industrial layout, shore up the shortage in high-end electronic chemical production capacity, and continuously enhance its market competitiveness in the fields of electronic fluorine chemical industry and new energy materials, helping the Central China Fluorosilicone Industrial Park form a scaled and high-end industrial cluster advantage.
